How do I set a proxy server?
The proxy address on the Mathematical Institute's network is as follows: 156.17.86.7, the proxy server accepts connections on the standard port 3128. Depending on your browser, you'll need to find a tab to configure your network settings in your preferences. For Firefox/IceWeasel under Linux, this is the Edit menu -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Network -> Settings:
In Windows, in Firefox, select the Tools -> Options menu... continue to proceed as described above. In Internet Explorer, select the Internet Options -> Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings menu:
