We invite you to the gala of the 57th edition of the PTM Competition for the best student thesis on probability theory and applications of mathematics, which will start on Friday 19 April 2023 at 16:00 in the room WS Institute of Mathematics of the University of Wrocław.
This year, the first prize was won by our graduate (and currently a PhD student) Tamara Frączek, and our graduate Michał Dąbrowski and our student Martyna Wereta.
Gala Program:
1) Discussion of the results of the competition by the Chairperson of the Jury, prof. Małgorzata Bogdan.
2) Speech by the main sponsor of the competition: Allianz.
3) Papers of the awarded persons: Tamara Frączek (University of Wrocław), Kinga Sztonyk (Wocławek University of Technology), Michał Makowski (University of Warsaw).
4) Presentation of posters of the awarded works.
5) Coffee break.
