It is with sadness that we inform you that on April 24, 2021, Prof. Dr. Hab died suddenly and unexpectedly. Tadeusz Hope.
The Mourning Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. 9:00 a.m. at the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary in Kłodzko at ul. Hospital. The funeral ceremony will take place on 30 April 2021 at 10.00. 12:00 p.m. at the municipal cemetery at ul. Dusznicka in Kłodzko.
Prof. Hope throughout his scientific youth, from studying to obtaining habilitation, was associated with the UWr Mathematical Institute. He cooperated scientifically with Prof. Q. In a series of joint work, they made an important contribution to the theory of certain partial differential equations. Then, already as titular professor, Prof. Hope worked first at the University of Zielona Góra and later at the University of Opole. For many years he was editor-in-chief of Mathematical News.
Professor Tadeusz Nadzieja was the dad of Dr. Hab. Peter Borodulin-Hope from our Institute.
